UTME Entry Requirements
To apply through UTME:
- Sit the 2025 UTME
- Score above the departmental cut-off
- Have five O’Level credits, including English and Maths (maximum of two sittings)
- You may apply while awaiting results
- Change your institution on the JAMB portal if GVU is not chosen:

Direct Entry Requirements
Eligible candidates must have:

| NCE / OND / HND / Degree | Merit or better in a related course |
| A’Level Programmes (JUPEB, IJMB, etc.) | Must be in a related course |
| O’Level | Five credits including English and Maths |
| JAMB | Direct Entry registration for 2025 required |
Conversion Students
Requirements for conversion applicants:
- Purchase application code
- Have five O’Level credits including English and Maths
- Submit university transcript
Transfer Students
Eligibility criteria for inter-university transfer:
- CGPA ≥ 1.5
- Valid JAMB admission letter from current institution
- Submit transcript directly to GVU
- Fill inter-university transfer form:
