Dorben Polytechnic has commenced the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 Academic Session into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes.
Admissions are available for both Full-Time and Part-Time study modes.

Admission Requirements
ND (National Diploma)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Minimum JAMB UTME score of 100 (ND Full-Time only).
- At least five (5) O’Level credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- ND Full-Time applicants must apply through JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates who selected another institution may apply after completing a Change of Institution on JAMB.
HND (Higher National Diploma)
Applicants must possess:

| Industrial Training | Minimum of one (1) year Industrial Training (IT) experience |
Required Documents
Applicants should submit the following documents along with their completed application form:
- JAMB UTME Result Slip
- O’Level Result(s)
- Birth Certificate
- State of Origin Certificate
Application Procedure
Follow the steps below:
- Obtain the application form from the Admission Office at the Main Campus, Garam.
- Complete the application form.
- Attach all required documents.
- Submit the completed application to the Admission Office.
JAMB CAPS Guidelines (ND Full-Time Applicants)
Applicants seeking ND Full-Time admission should complete the following steps:
- Create or log in to your JAMB CAPS account.
- Link your email address and phone number to your JAMB profile.
- Regularly monitor your admission status.
- Accept your admission offer on JAMB CAPS once it is offered.
- Print your JAMB Admission Letter.
- Present the admission letter at the Admission Office for verification.
Important: ND Full-Time admission is processed through JAMB CAPS. Applicants are advised to monitor their CAPS portal regularly to avoid missing important admission updates.
NYSC Eligibility
HND Full-Time graduates who are below 30 years of age will be eligible for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization.
Scholarship Opportunities
Eligible students may benefit from a 20% tuition scholarship in the following categories:
- Military and paramilitary personnel recommended by their respective offices.
- Female students admitted into Science and Engineering programmes.
