Available ND & HND Programmes

The following programmes are available for admission:

• Accountancy
• Public Administration
• Business Administration and Management
• Computer Science
• Mass Communication
• Library and Information Science
• Social Development
• Science Laboratory Technology

Admission Requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND)

Applicants seeking admission into the HND programme must satisfy the following requirements:

1. Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma (ND).
2. Have completed at least one (1) year of Industrial Training (IT) after graduation.
3. Possess five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including:
   • English Language
   • Mathematics
4. O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Post-UTME (ND)

Applicants for the ND programme must:

1. Choose Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP) as their first-choice institution, or complete a Change of Institution to IMAP through JAMB.
2. Score a minimum of 110 in the UTME.
3. Possess five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including:
   • English Language
   • Mathematics
4. Present O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.

Note: Candidates who did not initially select IMAP as their first-choice institution must complete the JAMB Change of Institution process before applying.

ND & HND Applicants

Follow these steps:

1. Visit the application portal:

2. Pay the application fee of ₦5,322.
3. Complete the online application form.
4. Submit your application.

PRE-HND & Diploma Applicants

Follow these steps:

1. Visit the Part-Time application portal:

   https://ptportal.imap.edu.ng/imappt
   

2. Select either:
   • PRE-HND, or
   • Diploma
3. Pay the applicable application fee.
4. Complete and submit the online application form.

Applicants who require assistance may visit the Polytechnic Consultancy Unit or any nearby cyber café to complete their application.
