Eligibility
UTME Candidates
Applicants must have:
- A minimum UTME score of 180.
Direct Entry Candidates
- Direct Entry (DE) applicants are eligible to apply.

Payment Options
Applicants may pay the screening fee using any of the following methods:
- Pay online with a debit (ATM) card.
- Print the payment slip and make payment at any commercial bank in Nigeria.
Note: There is no need to travel to Zaria to complete the payment process.
Application Procedure
Follow these steps to complete your registration:

https://abu.edu.ng - Click “2026/2027 UTME/DE Screening Registration.”
- Complete the online registration carefully using accurate information.
- Upload all required documents.
- Submit your application after verifying that all information is correct.

Prepare the following documents before beginning your registration:

O’Level Requirements
UTME applicants must:
- Enter grades for five relevant O’Level subjects.
- Ensure that the subject combination matches the requirements for the intended course as specified in the ABU Brochure.
Candidates Awaiting Results
Candidates awaiting O’Level results are advised to wait until their results have been released before registering for the screening exercise.
Important Notice
Applicants should take note of the following:
- Candidates with incorrect subject combinations should change to an appropriate programme through the JAMB Portal.
- Upload only genuine, valid, and accurate documents.
- Submission of false or forged documents will result in automatic disqualification.
- Candidates who fail to register for the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
