Admission Requirements
UTME Admission Requirements
Candidates applying through UTME must meet the following requirements:
- Score at least 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Possess at least five credit passes.
- Credits must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- The remaining three subjects must be relevant to the chosen course.
- Results must not be obtained in more than two sittings.
- MBBS candidates must have all required credits in one sitting.
- Accepted O’Level results include:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
Direct Entry into 200 Level
Candidates applying for Direct Entry into 200 Level must meet the following requirements:
- Meet the O’Level requirements.
- Have two passes at A Level, IJMB, or JUPEB.
- ND, NCE, or ATS holders may apply to relevant courses.
- Candidates must have purchased the 2026/2027 JAMB Direct Entry form.
Direct Entry Requirements for Nursing
Candidates applying for Nursing through Direct Entry must meet the O’Level requirements and have any of the following:
- At least two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.
- Registered Nursing Certificate, RN, from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- B.Sc. degree with at least Second Class Lower in Biological or Health Sciences.
Direct Entry Requirements for Medical Laboratory Science
Candidates applying for Medical Laboratory Science through Direct Entry must meet the O’Level requirements and have any of the following:
- At least two A Level passes in Biology/Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.
- Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma from MLSCN.
- B.Sc. degree with at least Second Class Lower in any Biological Science.
Direct Entry Requirements for Engineering
Candidates applying for Engineering through Direct Entry must meet the O’Level requirements and have any of the following:
- At least two A Level passes, including Mathematics and Physics.
- National Diploma with Upper Credit in Engineering.
Direct Entry Requirements for Law
Candidates applying for Law through Direct Entry must meet the following requirements:
- Meet the O’Level requirements.
- Have two papers at Principal or Advanced Level in HSC, GCE, IJMB, or JUPEB.
- Alternatively, possess an acceptable bachelor’s degree.
- Credit pass in Literature in English is compulsory.
Direct Entry into 300 Level
Candidates applying for Direct Entry into 300 Level must meet the following requirements:
- Meet the O’Level requirements.
- Possess an HND in a relevant field.
