Admission Requirements
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- In addition, applicants must possess one of the following:
- Third Class Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university.
- HND with at least Lower Credit.
- Other acceptable qualifications together with relevant work experience.
2. Master’s Degree Programmes
Applicants must have:
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
In addition, applicants must possess any of the following:
- Second Class Lower Bachelor’s Degree.
- CGPA of 3.00/5.00 or above.
- CGPA between 2.40 and 2.99 with at least three (3) years post-graduation experience.
- Third Class Bachelor’s Degree with at least five (5) years post-graduation experience.
- PGD with at least Credit level.
- Unclassified Degree with an average grade of C or above.
- HND with at least Credit, plus a PGD at Credit level in a relevant field.
Note: Some applicants may be required to sit for a qualifying examination.
3. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
Applicants must satisfy the following:
- Minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Possession of a relevant Master’s Degree.
- Candidates from other universities must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50/5.00.
Note: Applicants may be required to take a qualifying examination and/or undergo a probation period of up to 12 months.
Important Requirements
Before submitting your application, ensure that you have met the following requirements:
- Arrange for your academic transcript to be sent directly to the Head of Department of your chosen programme.
- Applications without valid academic transcripts will not be considered.
- Ph.D. applicants must upload a Research Proposal or Research Synopsis.
- Applicants without an NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate are not eligible to apply.
Important: Failure to submit the required academic transcript will render your application invalid.
