General Requirements
Applicants must meet the following general admission requirements:
- Must have at least five (5) credits in SSCE or its equivalent.
- English Language and Mathematics must be included.
- Results must not be obtained in more than two sittings.
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
Admission Note
Admission is open to all qualified candidates and is not based on religion, ethnic group, gender, or creed.

Requirements for 100 Level Admission (UTME)
Candidates applying for 100 Level admission through UTME must meet the following requirements:
- Have five (5) SSCE credits in relevant subjects.
- Include English Language and Mathematics among the required credits.
- Meet the acceptable UTME points for admission.
Requirements for Direct Entry Admission (200 Level)
Candidates applying for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level must meet the following requirements:
- Have five (5) SSCE credits.
- Possess at least two (2) A’ Level passes in relevant subjects.
- Candidates with ND credit passes may apply.
- Candidates with a good first degree in another field may also apply.
Transfer Admission
The university will not accept transfer students until after at least the first two years of its existence.
