How to Check Admission Status
- Visit JAMB eFacility.
- Enter your JAMB username and password.
- Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status”.
- Select “Access my CAPS”.
- Tap “Admission Status” to see your update.
Tip: Make sure you are using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile for smooth verification.
Status Meanings
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Admission Offered | Congratulations! You may accept or reject the offer. |
| Admission in Progress (AIP) | File under review from the university to JAMB. |
| Recommended | University has considered you; awaiting final JAMB approval. |
| Not Admitted | Not listed yet; may be pending or in a future batch release. |
| Pending | Application still under review. |
Next Steps After Admission is Offered
- Accept or Reject the Offer
Send ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using your JAMB-linked phone number. - Print Admission Letter
Once accepted, log in to your JAMB CAPS portal to print your admission letter.
