UTME Admission Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Have sat for the 2025 UTME
- Meet the required cut-off mark and departmental requirements
- Possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Acceptable examination bodies:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- Results must be obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
- Medicine & Surgery requires one (1) sitting only
- Awaiting result candidates are eligible
- Candidates who did not choose EDSU as first choice must:
- Carry out a Change of Institution on JAMB
Direct Entry (DE) Admission Eligibility
Applicants must possess any of the following:
- NCE (Minimum of Merit)
- OND / HND (Minimum of Credit)
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- IJMB, JUPEB, Cambridge A-Levels, or equivalent qualifications
- At least two (2) relevant A-Level passes
- Must also meet O’Level requirements
Inter-University Transfer Requirements
Transfer applicants must satisfy the following:
- Current institution must be NUC-accredited
- Completion of the EDSU Transfer Application Form
- Successful screening and/or interview
- Possession of a valid JAMB Admission Letter
- Submission of an official academic transcript sent directly to EDSU
- Minimum CGPA of 1.50
