The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has commenced its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) online screening exercise for admission into the university.
Candidates who did not choose ESUT as their first-choice institution but wish to study at the university are also eligible to apply. However, they must first process a Change of Institution through JAMB before completing the registration.

Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) 2026/2027 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening
Eligibility
The following candidates are eligible to apply:
- Candidates who selected ESUT in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ESUT but are willing to change their institution to ESUT through JAMB.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected ESUT.

| 160 | All programmes under the Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences, and every other remaining programme |
Screening Mode
The screening exercise will be conducted as follows:
- Online screening only.
- No physical screening.
- No aptitude test.
Note: All screening activities are conducted online through the ESUT admission portal.

How to Apply
Follow these steps carefully:
- Visit the ESUT admission portal.
- Click “2026/2027”.
- Under Regular Students, select “2026/2027 Admission Screening Registration.”
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
- Complete the required information.
- Generate your payment invoice.
- Pay the screening fee using either:
- Any commercial bank through Enugu State IGR Pay Direct, or
- Your Debit Card (online payment).
- Return to the portal.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number again.
- Complete the online screening form.
- Carefully verify every detail entered.
- Submit your application.
- Print your acknowledgement slip.
O’Level Requirements
Candidates awaiting any of the following results are eligible to apply:
- WAEC (May/June 2026)
- NECO (May/June 2026)
- NABTEB (May/June 2026)
Important
- O’Level results released after 30th September 2026 will not be accepted.
- Every candidate must upload their O’Level result to JAMB CAPS.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
Direct Entry candidates must:
- Complete the online screening exercise.
- Request their previous institution(s) to verify and clear their academic records on the JAMB e-Facility portal.

Successful candidates can check their admission status through:
- ESUT Admission Portal
- JAMB CAPS
Important Notes
Ensure that your name is exactly the same on:
- JAMB Result
- O’Level Certificate
- Every registration document
Failure to maintain consistent personal information may result in disqualification.
Candidates are also advised to:
- Verify every detail before submission.
- Provide only correct and authentic information.
- Avoid false declarations, as any discovered during verification will lead to disqualification.
