Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Candidates must have applied to Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri as their First or Second Choice institution.
- Candidates must have scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates must have the correct JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.
Screening Fee
The Post UTME screening fee is:
₦5,000 only
Payment is to be made through Remita using the generated RRR number.

The following O’Level results are accepted:
- WASSCE
- NECO

Entry Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following entry requirements:
- Candidates must have five credit passes in relevant subjects.
- English Language and Mathematics must be included.
- Results must not be obtained in more than two sittings.
- Candidates must have the appropriate JAMB subject combination for their chosen course.

Follow the steps below to apply for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post UTME screening:

- Generate an invoice.
- Print or copy out the invoice number.
- Proceed to Federal Polytechnic Nekede Microfinance Bank or any bank of your choice.
- Pay through Remita using the RRR number on your invoice.

- Complete your application.
- Submit your details.
- Print your acknowledgment slip.
Payment Note
- Payment can be made through Remita at any commercial bank nationwide.
- Candidates using card payment can return to the portal immediately to print their receipt and acknowledgment slip.
Important Warning
Any difference in O’Level result grades, JAMB score, or JAMB registration number will lead to automatic disqualification.
Important Notice
Candidates should take note of the following:
- Candidates who did not initially choose any of the advertised courses should change course and upload their O’Level result on the JAMB portal.
- Candidates must upload their O’Level result at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre.
- Candidates must ensure their UTME subject combination qualifies them for their chosen course.
- Candidates who chose the school as Second or Third Choice must change Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri to First Choice before they can be considered for admission.
- Wrong information will disqualify the candidate.
