General Entry Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A National Diploma (ND) with at least Lower Credit in a relevant discipline.
- Five (5) O’Level Credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.
- An ND Result and Industrial Training (IT) Letter before applying.
NABTEB Requirements
Engineering Applicants
Applicants using NABTEB (NTC) must possess a valid Trade Related Area (TRA) subject.
The following are not accepted as TRA subjects:
- Book Keeping
- Commerce
- Principles of Accounts
- Secretarial Studies
Important Restrictions
NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) and NABTEB General Education Certificate (NGC) are not acceptable for Engineering programmes.

Industrial Training (IT) Requirements

The work experience must be in a relevant (cognate) field.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below:
- Visit the application portal:
www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng - Generate and print your payment invoice.
- Pay ₦15,500 through:
- Remita at any commercial bank, or
- Debit card payment
- Return to the portal and complete the application form using your RRR Number.
- Upload:
- ND Result
- IT Letter
- Submit the application.
- Print your acknowledgement slip.
Aptitude Test
All applicants for:
- HND Morning Programme
- HND Evening Programme
- HND Part-Time Programme
will be required to sit for a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Transcript Requirement
Applicants who obtained their ND from institutions other than Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti must ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded directly by their former institutions to:

Applications Will Not Be Processed If:
- Transcript is not received before the deadline.
- Transcript is submitted by hand.
- Application form is incomplete.
- Application is submitted after the closing date.
- ND Statement of Result for candidates with Lower Credit and above bears an effective date of March 2026 or later.
- ND Statement of Result for candidates with Pass Grade bears an effective date of January 2025 or later.
- False or misleading information is supplied during application.
