Eligibility Criteria
Candidates eligible to apply include:
- Candidates who selected FUTES as their First Choice institution in JAMB.
- Direct Entry (DE) candidates who selected FUTES as their First Choice.
- Candidates who selected FUTES as Second Choice or did not initially choose FUTES, provided they complete a Change of Institution to FUTES as their First Choice on JAMB CAPS before registration closes.
O’Level Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) credit passes.
- Credits must include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Results obtained in not more than two sittings.

Application Procedure
Follow the steps below to complete your application:
- Visit the admission portal:
https://portal.futes.edu.ng/apply/ - Carefully read all registration guidelines.
- Complete the online application form.
- Make payment through the REMITA platform available on the admission portal.
- Submit your application and keep a copy of your registration details.
Important Registration Information
Candidates who cannot find their details as First Choice candidates on the portal should apply using the “OTHER” Choice option.
Additional Notes
- Such candidates must complete their Change of Institution to FUTES on JAMB CAPS before the registration deadline.
- A valid and accessible email address is required for registration.
- Applicants must activate their accounts using the activation link sent to their email.
- Accounts that remain unactivated for 48 hours will be automatically deleted.
- Check the Spam/Junk folder if the activation email is not found in the Inbox.
Passport Photograph Requirements
Applicants are required to:
- Upload a passport photograph not exceeding 100KB.
- Ensure the photograph meets the specified requirements before submission.
The uploaded passport photograph cannot be changed after admission has been offered.
Final Screening
All admitted candidates will be subjected to a final screening exercise conducted by the University.
During this process:
- Credentials and admission requirements will be verified.
- Candidates will be informed of their aggregate scores.
- Admission remains subject to successful completion of the final screening process.
