Eligibility / Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a National Diploma (ND) in a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA not less than 2.50).
- Possess the required O’Level credits relevant to the chosen programme.
- Accepted O’Level examinations include:
- WAEC
- NECO
- NABTEB
- GCE
- Possess a minimum of one year Post-ND Industrial Training (IT) experience.
- Register on the NIIT (HND Admission) Portal.
Candidates who fail to meet the stated requirements may not be considered for admission.
Academic Transcript Requirement
Candidates who did not graduate from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro are required to forward their ND Academic Transcript to the Registrar.
Important Conditions
- The transcript must be sent directly from the former institution under confidential cover.
- Candidates whose transcripts are not received will not be registered.
- Registration will only be completed after transcript submission.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below carefully:
- Visit the official portal:
www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng - Click on “Portal” on the navigation bar.
- Scroll down and select “New Application.”
- Click on “Online Admission.”
- Fill in your details exactly as they appear on your JAMB form.
- Generate your payment invoice.
- Take the invoice to any approved bank for payment.
- Obtain your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) Number.
- Return to the portal.
- Click on “Fill Application Form.”
- Enter your RRR number and complete the application form online.

- Wema Bank Plc.

Important Notes
- All payments and transactions must be carried out through the official school portal only.
- The Polytechnic will not be responsible for issues arising from payments made outside the portal.
- All personal details must match records on:
- WAEC/NECO
- JAMB documents
- Any discrepancy in personal details may lead to disqualification.
- Entrance examination will be Computer-Based (CBT).
