Available ND & HND Programmes
The following programmes are available for admission:
- Accountancy
- Public Administration
- Business Administration and Management
- Computer Science
- Mass Communication
- Library and Information Science
- Social Development
- Science Laboratory Technology
Admission Requirements
Higher National Diploma (HND)
Applicants seeking admission into the HND programme must satisfy the following requirements:
- Possess a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant National Diploma (ND).
- Have completed at least one (1) year of Industrial Training (IT) after graduation.
- Possess five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- O’Level results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
Post-UTME (ND)
Applicants for the ND programme must:
- Choose Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP) as their first-choice institution, or complete a Change of Institution to IMAP through JAMB.
- Score a minimum of 110 in the UTME.
- Possess five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Present O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.
Note: Candidates who did not initially select IMAP as their first-choice institution must complete the JAMB Change of Institution process before applying.

- Complete the online application form.
- Submit your application.
PRE-HND & Diploma Applicants
Follow these steps:
- Visit the Part-Time application portal:
https://ptportal.imap.edu.ng/imappt - Select either:
- PRE-HND, or
- Diploma
- Pay the applicable application fee.
- Complete and submit the online application form.
Applicants who require assistance may visit the Polytechnic Consultancy Unit or any nearby cyber café to complete their application.
