Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must:
- Choose Kashim Ibrahim University (KIU) as their first-choice institution.
- Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
O’Level Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) relevant credit passes, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Results obtained in not more than two sittings.
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
Direct Entry applicants must have:
- Five (5) relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
- One of the following qualifications:

Required Documents
Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents:
- O’Level Result(s)
- A’Level Certificate (where applicable)
- Indigene Certificate
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Birth Certificate
Important Information
Candidates who do not meet the cut-off mark for their preferred course should change to a course they are qualified for on the JAMB Portal before registering.
Applicants should also ensure that:
- Their UTME subject combination matches the requirements of their chosen course.
- Their O’Level result has been uploaded to the JAMB Portal, as failure to do so may affect admission processing.
How to Apply
Follow the steps below to complete your application:
- Visit the KIU Post-UTME Portal:
https://putme.kiu.edu.ng - Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as both:
- Username
- Password
- Generate a Remita Payment Invoice.
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee:
- Online using an ATM card, or
- At any commercial bank.
- Return to the portal and complete your registration.
