How to Apply
1. Undergraduate Programmes
- Create JAMB Profile Code via NIN
- Send your NIN to 55019 or 66019
- Create JAMB Profile
- At any JAMB office or accredited CBT centre
- Complete NOUN Application
- Access portal: www.nouonline.nou.edu.ng
- Check and Accept Admission
- Via JAMB CAPS
- Print Admission Letter
2. Other Programmes (Diploma, PGD, Masters, Ph.D)
- Visit NOUN Admission Portal → Apply for Admission
- Select:
- Programme
- Faculty
- Fill Form → Get Unique ID
- Payment
- Use bank via RRR number
- Complete application → Submit → Print Admission Letter
- Visit nearest study centre for screening
Tip: Ensure all documents are ready before visiting the study centre.
Admission Requirements

| Certificate | Ability to read & write; no prior qualification needed for Proficiency Certificate |
| Diploma | Minimum 3 O’Level credits (including English); or relevant Teacher Grade II/Islamiyyah Certificate |
| Undergraduate 100 Level | 5 O’Level credits at ≤2 sittings; relevant subject credits for specific schools (Law, Education, Sciences, etc.) |
| Undergraduate 200 Level | ND (Upper Credit), NCE, IJMB or equivalent with relevant subject passes |
| PGD | Bachelor’s degree or HND (Lower Credit) in relevant field |
| Masters | First degree (Second Class Lower minimum) or PGD in related field |
| Ph.D | Masters degree in relevant field; minimum 60% or CGPA 3.5/5; interactive session required |
