Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the State University of Medical and Applied Sciences (SUMAS), Igbo-Eno, for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Eligibility Requirements
Candidates are eligible to apply if they meet any of the following conditions:
- Chose SUMAS as their First Choice Institution in JAMB and scored 150 or above.
- Did not initially choose SUMAS as their first choice but scored 150 or above and are willing to change their institution to SUMAS through the JAMB portal.
- Are Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
- Are applying through Inter-University Transfer.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
- Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects.
- Have credits in the following compulsory subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery must obtain all required credits in one sitting.
- Candidates applying for other programmes may combine results from not more than two sittings.
Candidates are advised to ensure that all academic qualifications meet the University’s admission requirements before applying.
O’Level Result Upload Requirement
All candidates must upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to JAMB CAPS.
Important Notice:
Candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results on JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission.
