Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Choose Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their First Choice Institution in JAMB.
- Candidates who did not initially select the Polytechnic may still apply after completing a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal.
- Obtain a minimum UTME score of 100.
- Possess at least five (5) relevant O’Level credit passes.
- Have the correct UTME subject combination for their intended course of study.
Candidates Awaiting Results
Candidates awaiting O’Level results are eligible to apply.
Applicants awaiting results must upload their O’Level results immediately after they are released.
Screening Method
Admission screening will be based solely on:
- UTME results
- O’Level results
There will be:
- No physical screening examination
- No oral interview
Important Notice
Applicants are advised to note the following:
- O’Level results must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS through an accredited CBT centre.
- Failure to upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS may affect admission processing.
- Candidates must provide a valid email address and phone number during registration.
- Submission of false information will result in automatic disqualification.

- WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB Result/Certificate

Step 2: Start Registration
- Click “Post UTME (Prospective ND Students)”.
- Click “Register Now”.
- Select Post UTME.
- Enter a valid email address and phone number.
- Create an account.
Step 3: Access Your Account
- Check your email for login details.
- Log in to the application portal.
Step 4: Complete Your Application
- Upload a passport photograph.
- Pay the application fee of ₦2,000 online.
- Complete the application form.
- Upload all required documents.
Step 5: Submit
- Submit the completed application form.
- Print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
