Who Can Apply?
The following categories of candidates are eligible to apply:
- Candidates who scored 100 and above in the 2026 UTME
- Candidates willing to change their first-choice institution to Fidei Polytechnic
- Candidates awaiting SSCE results
- Direct Entry (DE) applicants seeking admission into HND programmes
Change of Institution Procedure
Candidates who did not initially select Fidei Polytechnic should:
- Visit any accredited CBT centre
- Log in to the JAMB portal
- Change their first-choice institution to Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko

UTME Admission Requirements
Applicants seeking ND admission must:
- Possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects
- Have credits in English Language and Mathematics
- Present results obtained in not more than two sittings
- Sit for the 2026 UTME
- Score a minimum of 100 in UTME
Direct Entry (HND) Requirements
Applicants seeking HND admission must:
- Meet all UTME admission requirements
- Possess an ND or NID certificate from an accredited institution
- Obtain at least a Lower Credit grade
- Complete at least one (1) year Industrial Training (IT) or possess cognate work experience
Candidates with Pass Grade
Candidates with a Pass grade (CGPA 2.0 – 2.49) may also apply provided they have:
- At least two (2) years cognate experience in a related field
Required Documents for HND/DE Submission
Applicants are required to submit:
- Two photocopies of admission form payment receipt
- Two photocopies of O’Level result/certificate
- Two photocopies of birth certificate or declaration of age
- Two passport photographs
Important Notice
All completed HND/DE forms must be submitted personally at the Polytechnic campus.
Candidate details will be uploaded to the NBTE HND Admission Portal by the Admission Officer.
