Admission Requirements
1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Requirements
Applicants must satisfy one of the following conditions:
- Possess a First Degree with at least a Third Class
- OR possess an HND with at least Lower Credit
- Meet the university matriculation requirements
- Relevant post-qualification experience may be required
Note: OND plus professional qualification and HD are not accepted as equivalent to HND.
2. Master’s Degree Requirements

Candidates with CGPA Between 2.40 – 2.74
Such candidates must additionally possess:
- A Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in a relevant field
- A minimum PGD CGPA of 3.00/5.00
Candidates with HND Upper Credit
Applicants may be considered if they also possess:
- A Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Minimum PGD CGPA of 3.50/5.00
Additional Consideration
Other equivalent qualifications approved by the School of Postgraduate Studies and the University Senate may also be considered.
PhD Requirements
Applicants seeking admission into PhD programmes must:
- Possess an Academic Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Have a minimum Master’s Degree CGPA of 3.50/5.00
- Satisfy all other relevant admission requirements
O’Level Requirements
All candidates must possess:
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects
- Credit pass in English Language
- Credit pass in Mathematics
