The Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo (FUHSO) has commenced admission into its nine-month Remedial Science Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Purpose of the Programme
The programme is designed to prepare candidates for admission into selected FUHSO undergraduate degree programmes through:
- Classroom teaching
- Laboratory exercises
- JAMB/UTME coaching
Entry Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Have at least 3 O’Level credits in WAEC, SSCE, NECO, GCE, or equivalent results.
- Required subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics
- One of Biology, Agricultural Science, or Geography
Available Degree Programmes
Candidates may be prepared for admission into the following programmes:
- Medicine and Surgery (MBBS)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Nursing Science
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Public Health & Epidemiology
- Biochemistry
- Human Anatomy
- Human Physiology
- Microbiology
- Computer Science
- Chemistry
- Biological Science
- Medical Physics
- Biostatistics
- Mathematics
Admission Conditions
Candidates who successfully complete the Remedial Science Programme may be considered for automatic placement into FUHSO degree programmes, subject to meeting the following conditions:
- Obtain at least 50% in each subject.
- Maintain at least 75% attendance throughout the programme.
- Choose FUHSO as the first choice in JAMB/UTME.
- Meet the university’s cut-off mark for the chosen programme.
Important: Successful completion of the remedial programme does not remove the requirement to satisfy FUHSO’s admission conditions for the chosen degree programme.

The application fee is:
₦10,000 (Non-refundable)
