Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Select FUHSO as their first-choice institution.
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credits, including:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Present O’Level results obtained in not more than two sittings.

Direct Entry (DE) Requirements
Applicants seeking admission through Direct Entry must possess one of the following qualifications in a relevant discipline:
- First Degree
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- National Diploma (ND)
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE)
- A’Level qualification
Applicants must have a minimum of:
- Lower Credit
- Merit, or
- An equivalent qualification.
Programmes Not Available for Direct Entry
Direct Entry admission is not available for the following programmes:
- MBBS (Medicine & Surgery)
- Pharm.D (Doctor of Pharmacy)
- BMLS (Medical Laboratory Science)
- B.Sc. Public Health & Epidemiology
Change of Institution
Candidates who did not initially select FUHSO as their first-choice institution should:
- Visit the JAMB Portal.
- Apply for a Change of Institution.
- Select FUHSO as their first-choice institution.
- Choose a programme for which they meet the:
- UTME subject combination requirements.
- O’Level requirements.
Important: Selecting a programme for which you are not qualified may affect your admission eligibility.
Application Process
Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Visit the FUHSO website:
www.fuhso.edu.ng - Click on 2026/2027 Post UTME/DE Screening.
- Carefully read all application instructions.
- Complete the online registration form.
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through the application portal.
Important Notes
Failure to register for the screening exercise means you will not be considered for admission.
Applicants should also note the following:
- Upload your O’Level or A’Level results to JAMB CAPS to be eligible for admission.
- Candidates offered admission must accept the admission on the JAMB Portal within four (4) weeks. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the admission offer.
- Applicants admitted into B.Sc. Mathematics may be eligible for a scholarship after admission.
