The PGDE programme is open to:

Entry Qualifications
Applicants must possess any of the following qualifications:
- Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/B.Sc.)
- Master’s Degree (MA/M.Sc./MPA/MBA)
- PhD
About the PGDE Programme
The Postgraduate Diploma in Education programme is designed for graduates who do not already possess teaching qualifications.
The programme also:
- Supports registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
- Prepares candidates for the TRCN Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQEs)
- Helps train qualified science and STEM teachers
The PGDE programme is suitable for graduates who wish to build a professional career in teaching and education.

OAUSTECH also serves as a registration centre for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQEs).
