Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following conditions:
General Requirements
- Must choose LASU as First Choice Institution in JAMB
- Must be at least 16 years old by 1st October 2026
- PDS candidates who completed their programme successfully are eligible
- PDS candidates must also score at least 195 in UTME
Direct Entry (DE) Requirements

Lagos State Indigeneship Verification
Candidates claiming Lagos State origin must:
- Complete verification through the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC)
- Ensure claims are properly validated during screening
Claims of Lagos State origin will be automatically validated during the screening process.

O’Level Requirements
Candidates must satisfy the following conditions:
- Minimum of 5 relevant O’Level credits
- Maximum of 2 sittings
- Medicine and Dentistry require ONE sitting only
- English Language is compulsory for all courses
Engineering Requirements (Two Sittings)
Engineering candidates using two sittings must possess credits in:
- Mathematics
- English Language
- Physics
- Chemistry
Special Requirement
- Aeronautic & Astronautic Engineering requires Further Mathematics
Important O’Level Notice
- Candidates must upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS before screening closes
- Any examination taken after July 2026 will NOT be accepted
Screening Method
Admission screening will be based on a Point Grading System.
The following will be considered:
- UTME Score
- O’Level grades in five relevant subjects
Relevant subjects must align with JAMB brochure requirements.

- Select “UTME/DE Screening”
- Login using:
- JAMB Registration Number
- Surname
- Click:
Make Payment (Admission Screening) - Select:
- Admission Screening Fee
- Campus: Ojo
- Category: Student
- After payment:
- Return to dashboard
- Click “Start Admission Screening”
- Supply Transaction ID used for payment
- Continue with the self-screening process

Screening Steps
Candidates should complete the following:
- Select preferred course
- Select number of O’Level sittings
- Input O’Level details carefully
- Preview all supplied information
- Tick the “I Certify” button
- Submit screening form
- Download screening report after submission
Course Correction / Re-Screening
Candidates may:
- Update records after submission
- Change course of study
- Apply for re-screening
Additional payment will be required for corrections or re-screening.
