JAMB Requirements
- Must have written the 2026 JAMB Examination
- Minimum score: 180
- Required subject combination:
- English Language
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Must select College of Nursing Sciences, UITH, Ilorin as first choice
- If not selected initially, candidates must process a change of institution at an accredited JAMB centre
O’Level Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) credits in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Maximum of two sittings
- NABTEB is accepted
- Cannot be combined with results from other examination bodies
Other Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have no criminal record
- Must not have deformity of the hands
Required Documents
(Upload online and present hard copies during screening)
- JAMB result slip
- JAMB change of institution slip
- Original O’Level certificate/result
- Birth certificate (NPC)
- Passport photograph
- Printed application form
- Remita payment receipt
How to Apply
- Visit the official portal:
https://www.uithilorin.org.ng - Proceed to Remita:
https://remita.net - Follow these steps:
- Click “Pay FGN and State TSA”
- Select “FGN – Federal Government of Nigeria”
- Enter: University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital
- Choose: UITH General Purpose Account
- Fill in required details and complete payment
- Generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference)
- Return to the portal and complete the application form using your RRR
Application Process
- Click “APPLY NOW” on the portal
- Enter a valid personal email address
- Check your email for a confirmation link
- Click the link to access the application form
- Select your school/programme
- Upload:
- Sponsor signature (JPEG/PNG/JPG)
- Three (3) typed and scanned referee letters (on letterhead)
- Complete all required fields accurately
- Submit and print/download your application form
If the printout does not appear, re-fill the form.
Important Notes
- Payments must be made only via Remita
- Do not pay cash or transfer money to personal accounts
- Submit payment receipt to the Bursary Unit for verification
- Do not bring your application printout to UITH
- Candidates must dress corporately for screening/interview
- All dates are subject to change by management
